LL-37

LL-37 (cathelicidin) is a human antimicrobial peptide active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and some viruses. It modulates innate immunity by neutralizing endotoxins, promoting chemotaxis and regulating cytokine responses. LL-37 exhibits both pro- and anti-inflammatory effects and plays a role in wound healing and host defense.
